PURPOSE:To detect the abnormality of a power source accurately by making a judgement after several checks are made without judging that a power source is abnormal even if the voltage drops owing to a load placed on the power source by accident. CONSTITUTION:When a load 11 is placed, it is judged whether a battery voltage is lower than a reference voltage or not. When the source voltage is lower than the reference voltage, the output of a comparator 2 goes up to a high level, so an AND gate 3 turns on and its output is inputted to a counter 4, which counts up by only one. When the counted value of the counter 4 reaches a specific value N, it is judged that the source voltage is abnormal and an alarm is outputted through a control part 5.
