<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to page copies obtained by image light by setting up an erasing area in each thin unit. CONSTITUTION:An eraser 24 is constituted with an erasing light source and a liquid crystal shutter 244 and the shutter 244 is obtained by arraying segment electrodes (light transmission control electrodes) in the transverse direction of a photosensitive body. When the value of a page counter is updated by a printing part indication, pattern information is read out from a ROM 241E on the basis of the counted value. Since the transmission/nontransmission of erasing light can be controlled at every dot by applying light transmission control voltage selectively to each segment electrode, each copy can be easily paged by selecting each segment electrodes in accordance with the numerical pattern of its page and applying the light transmission control voltage.</p> |
