PURPOSE:To simply form a monochromatic image with a desired color tone by exposing a photosensitive material for a color print through an original having a black-and-white image after light is regulated with filters with the three primary colors. CONSTITUTION:Light from the light source 11 of an automatic color printer is irradiated on a black-and-white original 41 through a dead heat part 2. At this time, colored light is regulated with movable yellow, magenta and cyan filters built in the part 2 in accordance with the light source and the original. Exposure is regulated with cyan, magenta and yellow filters 51-53 and a dark shutter 54 in an exposure regulating part 5, and the resulting light image is printed on color paper in a printing frame 7 through a lens 6. For example, when a monochromatic sepia image is formed, the quantities of blue light and green light are increased by adjusting the yellow and magenta filters so as to obtain a print having a monochromatic magenta image. Since exposure is regulated, a print having a monochromatic image with a desired color tone can be obtd. by utilizing a color printer, color paper, etc. |
