PURPOSE:To obtain a booster usable for various converters by using a voltage detection means to detect a voltage impressed to an output terminal of the booster, identifying the voltage and connecting switchingly a switching connection means. CONSTITUTION:When a power of DC15V is given to a booster main body 5, the power is sent to a changeover switch 18 via a choke coil 16a from an output terminal 8. When a voltage detection circuit 19 detects a DC15V, the circuit 19 controls that the switch 18 is thrown to the position of a terminal (b) side. The power is sent from the output terminal 8 to a BS-IF input terminal 7. When the power of a signal not being DC15V or an AC voltage for U, VHF master booster is sent to the main body 5, the power is sent to a switch 18 from the terminal 8 via a coil 16a. The control of the circuit 19 controls the switch 18 to be thrown to the position of a terminal (a) side and the power is sent from the terminal 8 to the U, VHF input terminal 6.
