PURPOSE:To provide high-density storage capacity to the titled medium and to improve the mechanical and thermal characteristics by successively forming magnetic recording layers on a long-sized plastic film, blanking the film in the form of a disk and sticking the disk on a disk of thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:Polycarbonate, for example, is used as the material and a discoid molded body is obtained by a high-pressure and high-speed injection molding machine. The pricipal agent 210 of a rapid cure adhesive 210F of 'SUMIKIT SG(R)' produced by the SUMITOMO Chemical Co. as the second-generation acrylic adhesive is diluted with toluene to 850cps/25 deg.C viscosity and the soln. is spin-coated on both surfaces of the degreased polycarbonate disk. Besides, a polyester film coated with magnetic paint is cut into the form having the same size as the plastic substrate and the soln. is spin-coated on both surfaces. The plastic substrate and the polyester both coated with the adhesive are stuck on each other and subjected to 50kg/cm<2> pressure for 2min firmly attach both materials to each other. The obtained magnetic medium has 600e coercive force Hc, 1,200emu/cc magnetization Ms and 0.86 squareness ratio (Br/Bm) and is provided with excellent performance as a magnetic disk.
