PURPOSE:A through-hole is bored in the center of the tightly sealing stopper for the larger-diameter tube so that the opening of the smaller diameter tube may be inserted there into and a rod is set so that it may be inserted into the through hole from the side opposing the small-diameter tube to enable an anaerobic bacterium to be cultured through simplified operations. CONSTITUTION:The objective vessel is composed of a larger-diameter vessel with an opening on one end, a smaller-diameter tube b which is contained in the vessel A and has an opening on one end, a tightly sealable stopper C which has a through-hole 7 at the center, to which the opening of the vessel B can be inserted and a rod D which can be inserted from the side opposing to the vessel B into the through-hole 7. The opening of the vessel is formed with the face 2 inclining toward the tube axis and the part of the stopper C contacting with the end surface 2 is formed with the inclining face 5 corresponding to the end face 2. Further, a plurality of annular depressions 10a, 10b are formed on the inner surface of the through-hole 7 into which the vessel B is inserted. Resultantly, the cultivation of an an aerobic bacterium is ensured through simple operations.
