摘要 |
PURPOSE:The title vessel for measuring microorganisms is formed with blocks having cultivation wells which have a downward convex surface at the bottom so that it has a horizontal surface of a specified magnitude of the area of the parallel beam used at the bottom center whereby accurate and rapid inspection of bacterial becomes possible. CONSTITUTION:The cultivation vessel for measuring microorganisms 2 is com posed of cultivation wells which are made of light-transmitting material and have downward convex bottom surface so that the area of the horizontal surface is 3-1,000 times that of the parallel beam which is used at the bottom center. The parallel beam from the laser source 1 is irradiated to nearly the center of the bottom surface of the vessel 2 and the forward scattering light is mea sured through the blocker 4. According to the present invention, microorganisms are measured rapidly with high sensitivity.
