PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of data transmission by receiving the fist pulse of a transmission signal, setting an input gate period corresponding to a short time width and using the presence of a next pulse within a period so as to discriminate the width of the pulse signal time width. CONSTITUTION:When a pulse signal with a short time width and a long time width pulse signal having a double time width are inputted from a bus line 2 in combination and when the first pulse is received, one-shot multivibrators 14a, 14b are triggered and a signal input gate period for a period corresponding to the short time width is formed by an OR gate O4. When the next pulse is received during the gate period, the pulse signal with short time width is recovered by the OR gate O2. When no pulse signal is received during the gate period with short time width, a gate period with sorter time width is set and a pulse with a long time width is recovered by the reception of a next pulse.
