For ease of mounting, a switch 1, which enables a vehicle driver to adjust the vehicle's mirrors, is formed in two parts namely a casing 3 and a face plate 4 both of which are fastened to a respective side of a support 2, which may be, for example, a vehicle's dash board. For fastening the casing 3 and the face plate 4 to the support 2, appropriate screws extend through hollow pegs 6 in the face plate 4, through respective apertures 5 in the support 2 and respective bearing parts 7 in the casing 3 in alignment with the pegs 6.
