<p>PURPOSE:To perpendicularly turn a cassette to a different direction without making circular are movement, by setting the radius of the internal gear of a rotary drum mounted on supporting plates to a prescribed length and moving rollers along a guide groove section having square corner sections. CONSTITUTION:When a cassette 14 is horizontally inserted into a holder 1 and a rotary drum 28 rotates and, as a result, a pinion 30 is moved on a rack 3 in the direction shown by the arrow (b) by the internal gear 26 of the rotary drum 28, rollers 7 fixed to both side faces of the holder 1 are moved in the horizontal section of guide grooves of a right and left supporting plates 5. When the rollers 7 contact with the corner section 36b of the guide grooves 36, the pinion 30 immediately makes planetary motions and moves to the vertical section 36c of the groove 36 and the rollers 7 are vertically guide in the vertical section 36c, since the radius of the gear 26 is set to have a length equal to the sum of the circular arc radius of the corner section 3b of the rack 3 and the diameter of the pinion 30. As a result, the holder 1 perpenducularly changes its direction and vertically descends to its loading position. Therefore, the upward and downward strokes of the holder 1 can be minimized extremely and the device can be reduced in size and weight.</p> |
