<p>PURPOSE:An article to be pressed or decompressed is carried inermittently into a pressing or decompressing chamber, by a method wherein the pressing or decompressing chamber is divided into three chambers by an openable and closable doors, the chambers each are provided with rails for carrying articles and the door parts are connected by a detachable rail with each other. CONSTITUTION:An article (unvalcanized rubber product) to be pressed in fixed to a conveying device 10, a door 2 of a first chamber 6 which is made identical pressure with the open air is opened, an outside rail 9 is connected by an unillustrated connecting rail with the first chamber 6, said conveying device 10 is carried to the first chamber, the door 2 is closed and the first chamber is pressed so that pressure of the first chamber becomes indentical with that of a second chamber which has been pressed at predetermined pressure. Similarly to the above, the conveying device 10 is carried intermittent to the pressurized second chamber 7, and taken out to the outside through a third chamber 8 by the same operation further. In case of decompression treatment it is similar to the above. Pressing or decompressing treatment of the article can be performed continuously. The titled method is suitable for heating, vulcanizing, drying and defoaming.</p> |
