摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To enhance oxygen adsorbing capacity and to enable the miniaturization of an apparatus, by molding an oxygen selective type adsorbent from crystalline ferrierite granulated by the addition of a sticking agent and having a SiO2/Al2O3mol ratio of 12 or less. CONSTITUTION:Sodium silicate is used as a SiO2 source and aluminum sulfate as an Al2O3 source and sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide as an alkali source to change the SiO2/Al2O3mol ratio of the stock mixture. Subsequently, hydrothermal treatment is applied to the stock mixture at 180 deg.C for 72hr to obtain ferrierite type zeolite of which the SiO2/Al2O3mol ratio to 12 or less. This zeolite is useful as an oxygen adsorbent and the adaptation range thereof is extremely wide and, for example, said zeolite can be adapted to an oxygen concn. apparatus utilizing a molecular sieve, a temp. swing system or a pressure swing system.</p>
