PURPOSE:To give a command in voice even during talking only by depressing a command button of the extension by providing a command button and a command signal transmission section to an extension and providing a command signal detection section and a voice signal connection section to a master set. CONSTITUTION:A command signal 12 is detected by a command signal detection section 7 by depressing a command button 4 during talking. The command signal 12 can be a single tone when it is distinguished from a voice signal. After the command signal detection section 7 detects the command signal 12, a connection changeover request is given to a voice signal connection section 10 and the preceding voice signal is fed to a voice command recognition section 8 and recognized as a voice command signal 13. A function control section 9 applies holding or channel switching in response to the recognized content. In depressing the command button again, the voice signal connection section 10 changes over the connection depending on the connection changeover request of the command signal detection section 7 and the succeeding voice signal is sent to the function control section 9 as a talking signal 11.
