PURPOSE:To make possible working of many kinds of works with one rolling machine by disposing flat dies of various different working specifications equally devidedly in the directions opposite from each other on sliders and reversing the moving direction of the sliders thereby rolling the works. CONSTITUTION:The stem part W2 of the work W is positioned between the 1st flat dies 10a and 10b in the case of rolling the work W with the dies 10a, 10b. The 1st slider 3 is then moved downward and the 2nd slider 4 upward respectively so that the dies 10a, 10b engage with the work W, thereby rolling the stem part W2 thereof. The 2nd flat dies 11a, 11b move toward the axial line (c) of both centers, i.e., in the directions where the dies part from the center of rolling in this state. The interference of the 2nd flat dies 11a, 11b with the work W including a collar W1 is therefore obviated. The slider 3 is moved upward and the slider 4 downward respectively in the case of working the work with the 2nd dies 11a, 11b. Then the dies 10a, 10b move in the directions where the dies part from the center of rolling, by which the interference thereof with the work W is averted. |
