PURPOSE:To obtain an apparatus with various characteristics which has change points in the deflection angle characteristic of a pointer with respect to changes in the resistance value of a sensor, by insertion connecting a heat wire to only one arm of a bridge circuit. CONSTITUTION:The balance and unbalance state change in a bridge circuit according to variations in the resistance value of a sensor R1 while change points are caused in the current flowing through a heat wire 3 insertion connected to one arm of the bridge circuit with a non-linear element between the balance and unbalance states of the bridge circuit. Moreover, the average applied voltage can be kept constant with respect to the bridge circuit by a voltage regulator 4. Thus, changes in the current flowing through the heat wire are translated into the deflection angle characteristic of a pointer 1 through the bending of a bimetal 2.
