PURPOSE:The titled ring in which the flange surface is formed with a hard composite-plated layer consisting of fine hard particles as a codeposition substance and a matrix of plated metal such as Ni, Co or Cr, thus showing high abrasion resistance and causing no traveller burning. CONSTITUTION:On a spinning ring, at least on the flange surface contacting with a traveller, is formed a hard composite plated layer which is composed of hard fine particles, preferably of silicon carbide, tungsten carbide, titanium carbide, chromium carbide, aluminum oxide or silicon nitride, as a coprecipitated substance and an electrolytically or chmically plated metal layer selected from Ni, Co or Cr as a matrix. |
