PURPOSE:To improve the water repellency and the water resistance by sheet- making a natural fiber, a chemical fiber, or their mixture, and using a base material which has been impregnated with a solution of a fluorochloro- substitution derivative of hydrocarbon, and thereafter, has been dried. CONSTITUTION:An NUKP is beaten and sheet-made, formed to a cone-shaped base material by heating, pressing and drying, an impregnating treatment by immersing it into a solution of a fluorochloro-substitution derivative of hydrocarbon, a hot-air drying is executed, and the fluorochloro-substitution derivative 22 of hydrocarbon is packed and stuck to an air-gap between pulp fibers 21. As for the fluorochloro-substitution derivative of hydrocarbon, freon is used, and a polymer being a derivative is obtained by a suspension polymerization or an emulsion polymerization under a catalyst of peroxide or sulfurous acid soda. As for the polymer, an ethylene tetrafluoride polymer, an ethylene tetrafluoride propylene hexafluoride copolymerization polymer, etc. are available. The sticking quantity of the derivative polymer is set to 0.1-1.0%, and 0.5-0.8% desirably. |
