PURPOSE:To improve the charge/discharge efficiency of lithium by employing lithium preprocessed in non-proton solvent containing ion dissociation silver or cadmium compound for the negative electrode of lithium secondary cell. CONSTITUTION:Lithium is preprocessed in non-proton solvent such as propylene carbonate, tetrahydroflan containing at least one kind of compound selected from compound group of ion dissociation silver, cadmium, indium, tin, antimon, thallium, lead and bismuth. Then it is employed to form a negative electrode 4 for secondary cell. It is combined with positive electrode black mix 6, separator 5, etc. to form a coin cell. When immersing lithium metal into non-proton solvent dissolved with such metal as effective for improving the charge/discharge efficiency and alloying only the surface, the charge/discharge characteristic can be improved considerably. |
