Device for protecting breaker switches against vandalism. The invention relates to a device enabling protection of a breaker switch while permitting full use of the latter. The breaker switch 10 to be protected is arranged between a support and a hood. The hood is attached to the support by screws 8 fixed to the hood and able to slide in the support so as to permit a movement of the hood on the support, while preventing the dismantling of the hood. The hood is furthermore separated from the support by springs 9 arranged in housings prepared to this effect in the support. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for protecting lighting installations and timers from vandalism in publically accessible places. <IMAGE>
