The invention relates to a regulation method for an object aligner not using pressure, and a device for implementing it. This regulation method is characterised in that the single-channel output conveyor 4 is moved at a speed 11 greater than the take-up speed 12 of the machine 10, and that the effective speed 13 of movement of the receptacles 8 is measured at a defined spot 14 on the single-channel conveyor 4, then that the result of this measurement is compared with a reference value 15, and that then the juxtaposed conveyors 6 of the aligner are, or are not, accelerated, on the basis of the result of the said comparison. The regulation device is characterised in that the speed sensor 16 and the packing detector 18 are connected to a computer 19 which controls the speed of the motors 7 of the juxtaposed conveyor 6 of the aligner 1.
