PURPOSE:To lighten the acceleration shock and reduce fuel consumption by installing a load detecting means for detecting the load weight of a car, acceleration-demand detecting means for detecting the time of acceleration and an injection-quantity limiting means for limiting the max. fuel injection quantity. CONSTITUTION:A supercharge pressure is introduced into the boost compensator 7 of a fuel injection pump 6 from the suction passage 4 of an engine 1 through a connection passage 8, and the max. fuel injection quantity is adjusted. An opening/closing valve 9 is electrically connected to a control circuit 10. Said control circuit 10 receives the outputs of a load detecting sensor 12 for detecting the load weight of a car and an accelerating speed sensor 13 for detecting acceleration, and when the acceleration in light loaded state is judged, the opening/closing valve 9 is closed. Thus, acceleration shock can be lightened, and fuel consumption can be reduced.
