Laundry-washing machine having a suspended tub, a laundry drum, a motor for driving the drum, and an anti-unbalance device, characterised in that, to reduce or even eliminate an unbalance formed by a poor distribution of the laundry in the drum 4, it comprises an anti-unbalance device 7 mounted between the suspended tub 3 and the frame or base 8 of the machine and performing a double function, namely that of initiating, in a spin-drying phase, a temporary change of the motor for driving the drum 4 from spin-drying speed to washing speed for any amplitude of oscillation of the suspended tub 3 exceeding an adjustable selected given value, and that of determining an adjustable duration of this temporary functioning of the machine at washing speed. <IMAGE>
