Fibre for image transmission from one location to another, characterised in that it comprises:
- at least one first element 52 for transmitting the light power;
- and a plurality of second elements 54 arranged around the said first element 52, the said second elements 54 interacting with each other for transmitting the image of the object, the said first element 52 having a greater diameter than those of the said second elements 54.
