SAFETY DEVICE OF CONTROL LEVER FOR DUMP TRUCK

PURPOSE:To eliminate completely the danger to a worker with a dump truck by securing a contact between a support bar and the 1st arc part when a controllever is moved down and between the support bar and the 2nd arc part when the control lever is moved up respectively. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 2 is set through and fixed to an adverse U-shaped fixing bracket 1 and a short pipe 3 is set rotatably on the shaft 2 to fix a control lever 4. A bracket 5 is erected on the upper surface side of the base of the lever 4 to hold a pair of crank arms 6 in a bend form. A push-pull wire 7 is connected to an end at the other side of the arm 6 and an L-shaped support bar 8 fixed to the bracket 1 is supported with a contact at the outer circumference of the arm 6. Then a stopper part 9a and the 1st and 2nd arc parts 11 and 10 are formed on the outer circumference of the arm 6. The part 11 has a circular arc formed round the axial core of the shaft 2 with a radius R. While the part 10 has a circular arc hacing a radius (r) smaller than the radius R at an eccentric position. Both parts 11 and 10 have a contact with the bar 8 when the lever 4 is moved down and up respectively.
