Bearing for the spinning rotor of an open-end spinning machine, in which the spinning rotor is seated on one end of a shaft (8) projecting at both ends from a bearing sleeve (5), in which it is held in two rolling bearings (6, 7). The bearing sleeve (5) is fixed, in the region of its axial ends, by elastic supports (3, 4) within a bearing housing (2) which surrounds it with an annular gap (12) and which is intended to be inserted into a mounting located on the machine. So that the oil-lubricated or grease-lubricated rolling bearings (6, 7) can be assigned a supply of lubricating oil sufficient for long operating time, without an increase in the outside diameter of the bearing housing (2) and without external fittings, the annular gap (12) is formed into a supply space for the lubricating oil by means of gaskets (13, 14) which are arranged on both sides of lubricating orifices located in the bearing sleeve (5). <IMAGE> |
