PURPOSE:To define easily the range of duplication writing by duplicating only the core of an operating system. CONSTITUTION:A main memory device control part 10 is provided with a range register 11, a comparator 12, a base register 13, an adder 14, an address register 15, a data register 16 and a control part 17, and main memory devices 21 and 22 are connected to the main memory device control part 10. The range register 11 decides the duplication range of main memory, the address register 15 stores a main memory address, and the base register 13 bypasses the part of the duplication range. The comparator 12 compares contents of the range register 11 with those of the address register 15, and the adder 14 adds contents of the base register 13 to those of the address register 15.
