Mechanism for a roof window with pinched double glazing, balanced by pneumatic jacks 19, with the possibility of overturning by pivoting the end of a supporting arm 14 to allow cleaning. The opening mechanism is such that the force of the pneumatic jacks 19 performs the function of compensating the weight of the insulating glazing 2 in the closed position.
