PURPOSE:To improve the overall maintenance function of a communication control circuit system by displaying the state of a bidirectional bus line within each communication control part on a monitor for each mode through a display mode designating part. CONSTITUTION:The monitor is carried out for display through a display mode designating part 6, a display control circuit part 7, a display circuit part 8 and a display part 9. The part 6 displays the state of a bidirectional bus line 2 set between a communication control circuit part 4 and a bus transceiver 5 in a transmission mode to the line 2, in a reception mode from the line 2 or in both the transmission and reception modes by designating a display mode. The part 7 performs the display control by an indicating signal 12 for input/ output direction of transceiver and a display mode designating signal 13 and delivers a display permission signal 14 only when the display mode is designated and the indicating directions are satisfied for input/output direction of transceiver. The part 8 delivers a display signal 15 corresponding to an input/output signal 11 toward the line 2 by a display permission signal 14. Then the part 9 performs the display by the signal 15 corresponding to the line 2.
