PURPOSE:To obtain a regenerated tenon of high strength, by cutting a shroud from its outer side to cut a tenon to be removed while forming a recessed groove in a position where the tenon is provided in the point end surface of a blade thereafter forming by build up welding the tenon of the initially designed shape coating said recessed groove. CONSTITUTION:A turbine impeller, protrusively providing a tenon 12 from the point end surface of each blade 3 to be inserted into a through hole drilled i the thickness direction of a shroud 13, fixes the shroud 13 by calking the point end of the tenon. When the tenon 12 in the above is regenerated due to generation of damage, first the rotor impeller, while it is rotated at a low speed on a lathe or the like, cuts a groove so as to reach the blade base material 3 along cut lines III by an amount corresponding to the width of the tenon 12. In this way, the shroud 13 is separated from the blade 3. Next the regenerating method, removing the blade 3 from a rotor disc, forms by build up welding the tenon, as shown by a finish line 44 in the drawing, coating a recessed groove 21 formed by the above cutting in the point end surface of the blade.
