PURPOSE:To improve the instantaneous performance of exposure timing by operating magnetic preset means only when exposure of X-ray is stopped thereby preventing unnecessary X-ray and power consumption. CONSTITUTION:Upon supply of an exposure timing signal P from first timer 12, second timer 13 will catch said signal P to feed a magnetic preset signal PR for predetermined time (a) to a switch S4. Consequently, current such as the loop 3 will flow through the primary winding nP3 to preset the core of main transformer T magnetically. Upon elapse of predetermined time (a), unnecessary D.C. voltage Ep is never applied across the primary winding nP3 until next exposure timing signal is fed and stopped. Since said time interval (a) is sufficiently short, unnecessary X-ray is never produced resulting in considerable reduction of power consumption. |
