PURPOSE:To use a memory with high efficiency hand also to reduce the load of a host computer by forming a common memory between a memory for data base information and a memory for CRT data and setting this common memory at the display side. CONSTITUTION:A memory 201 provided to a graphic display terminal 102 stores the data base information on pictures in addition to the CRT display data. A graphic form is displayed on a CRT102f based on the prescribed data base information. At the same time, the graphic form is corrected by an indication given from a data input device 102d. Then the CRT display data corresponding to the corrected pattern is registered on the memory 201 in the form of the data base information by a request for registration. A processor 102b converts the prescribed data base information into the data that can be handled by a host computer 101a by a request for data given from the computer 101a.
