The tunnel comprises in each case a cylindrical cement pipe (10), and at the breaks (11) are external screens (12) fitted parallel to the tunnel, and whose front and rear edges are angled outwards. At least a part of each tunnel is lined on the inside with noise-damping material, and at the tunnel end nearest to the location there is a greater inner width than in the remainder of the tunnel length. The tunnel extends over only a part of the distance between the firing point and the target, and this part is closest to the firing point. Breaks (11) are regulary distributed along the tunnel length which permit communication between the interior of the tunnel and the surrounding atmosphere. The tunnels are connected to a shooting hall (13), and have a length of approx. 300 meters between the firing point and the target. |
