An adjustable-indexable insert cartridge in a bush for fixed installation in a blind bore of a boring bar, with provision for rotationally fixed, axially adjustable mounting of the indexable insert cartridge elastically preloaded by a urethane spring, the slit end of the bush taking hold of flats provided on the cylindrical body of the cartridge itself. Alternative tool-holder mountings provide spring reaction surfaces in the holder body as well as surfaces also ensuring functions of the bush. |
