PURPOSE:To readily connect with a load and to stabilize the output by separating a vibration system from the output side to eliminate the transmission of a supersonic vibration to the output side. CONSTITUTION:The stator 1 of a supersonic wave motor is formed of piezoelec tric thickness vibrators 11-13, terminal boards 14, 15 and a disklike washer 16, and resonated in twisting and longitudinal mode by the applied sinusoidal voltage. The rotational shaft of a rotor 3 is pressed to coincide with a twisting shaft to the end of the stator 1 to generate a rotary torque at the rotor 3. In this case, the rotor 3 is divided into a vibrating link 5 and a rotational shaft 2, and a silicone rubber ring 4 is inserted therebetween. The clamping force of a bolt 6 for supporting a bearing 7 engaged with the center of the shaft 2 is transmitted to the ring 5, and supersonic vibration from the ring 5 is absorbed by a rubber ring 4. Thus, the vibration in the rotary torque source is confined in the motor to stabilize the output characteristics. |
