PURPOSE:To reduce thermal off-tracks by embedding a different material into a contact part of a draw bolt of a head arm. CONSTITUTION:An insert 2 of a stainless steel material, etc. is embedded into a fitting part 3 of a lightweight head arm 1 such as an aluminum material, etc., which has been provided with a magnetic head 4. Accordingly, when fixing the arm 1 to a carriage 7 through a draw bolt 5 of a steel material, the generation of a scuffing phenomenon is prevented, a slip by the scuffing phenomenon does not occur, and thermal off-tracks for generating a difference in a thermal deformation quantity of a thermal head and the magnetic head due to an environmental temperature difference are reduced.
