PURPOSE:To obtain a diaphragm which has a high rigidity and reduces the burden of a tweeter when a 2-way speaker system is built, by impregnating a carbon fiber cloth with an epoxy resin and forming this cloth into a sheet by a press to obtain a surface material and interposing a core material, which is formed with a resin sheet by press forming, between these surface materials. CONSTITUTION:The carbon fiber cloth is impregnated with the epoxy resin and is formed into a sheet by a press, thereby obtaining surface materials 4a and 4b. Since surface materials obtained in this manner are used, the rigidity is high, and fh is raised, and the burden of the tweeter is reduced when the 2-way speaker system is built.
