PURPOSE:To obtain a compact replacing apparatus by the assembly of a vertically demounting mechanism for pallet, pallet holding and turning mechanism of twin arms, pallet transporting link mechanism, and a horizontally holding and transferring mechanism which are installed onto a pallet replacing apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A column 2 is loaded onto the bed 1 of a horizontal type machining center, and shifted in the Z-axis direction, guided by a guide 3. A table 5 is loaded onto the bed 1.. on the front surface of the bed 1 and shifted in the X-axis direction. A pallet 6 for loading a work W is loaded onto the table 5 through the transport from the delivery position9a of a pallet transferring apparatus 9 by the twin arms 8 of a pallet replacing apparatus 7. Said pallet replacing apparatus 7 is installed onto a pallet table 10 and consists of the vertically demounting mechanism for the pallet 6, pallet holding and turning mechanism for the twin arms 8, pallet transporting link mechanism for transferring the pallet 6 between the pallet replacing apparatus 7 and the delivery position 9a, and a horizontally holding and transferring mechanism for the pallet 6. |
