PURPOSE:To simplify a connection procedure for forming a facsimile communication network through a public circuit network and to improve the operation efficiency of a system by forming the facsimile communication network and then enabling automatic origination from an originating station to the opposite station. CONSTITUTION:This system is equipped with a discriminating means 11 which discriminates between a busy-tone signal 10 indicating that a circuit 5 is engaged and a signal 8 indicating circuit formation, a setting part 12 where the subscriber number 9 of a terminal station is set, and a control means 13 which sends out the subscriber number 9 of the setting part 12 when the reception of the signal 8 is discriminated. The terminal station 1 which receives the signal 8 sent from a public network 3 receiving a signal 7 or an output signal 10 sends out the subscriber number 9 in the setting part 12 to call the terminal station 2 when discriminating the signal 8. Consequently, operator's trouble in dialing the subscriber number 9 is omitted and the time of connection with the opposite side is shortened.
