PURPOSE:To execute a stable kick operation by providing an auxiliary track having partially an area being parallel to a tracking track, between the tracking tracks. CONSTITUTION:On an optical card, clock tracks 21, 22,... and tracking tracks 31, 32,... are placed in advance alternately and at an equal interval, and information recording parts 41, 42,... are provided between each track. When going out of a recording area A and entering into a kick area B, an auxiliary track L is provided between both the tracking tracks. The track K is formed in parallel to the tracking tracks of both sides, in the area B and areas D, E. In this way, a kick quantity of an optical beam for the track movement can be minimized, also, the kick quantity of the time of recording and the time of reproduction can be made the same, as well, baking of an auto focus use coil is prevented, and a stable kick operation being free from a kick mistake can be executed.
