PURPOSE:To obtain a high-reliability connector for which large-scale devices and jigs are not required and a work is simple and its man-hour is small, of a solid-state image pickup device by forming lead terminals in a package with a shape memorizable alloy. CONSTITUTION:A connector 1 using the shape memorizable alloy is caused to memorize a shape (a) and is formed into a shape (b) by applying a force. Thereafter, a flexible printed board 2 is clipped and is heated. The connector 1 using the shape memorizable alloy restores the memorized shape (b) by heating to clamp the flexible printed board, and the connector 1 is formed to a state (d). Since this shape memorizable alloy has not the reversibility, the connector 1 is kept in a state (c) though they are cooled to the normal temperature, and the flexible printed board and the lead part in the package are connected electrically.
