In this electrical component which is operated such that it can rotate, a cam device which can rotate about a shaft is used on a first layer support (substrate support), and furthermore an operating shaft which can rotate and pivots the cam device, in such a manner that on/off position(s) of the switch can be achieved but the cam device has a projection and the operating shaft has a pair of operating projections on it which are offset with respect to one another but engage with the cam projection. Furthermore, the operating shaft is provided with a sliding element which is seated on it and slides along the lead pattern, which operating shaft slides on the second layer support and a simplified, miniaturised construction for the power circuit breaker and the adjustable electrical component is achieved.
