In a process for producing a composition from cellulose particles with resin distributed therein, such as is used in the production of dry-process fibre boards or the like, wood fragments or similar cellulose material are first of all fed to a disc-type refiner (18) which is under pressure. After the comminuted cellulose particles have been removed from the refiner, they are conveyed via a blower line (20) to a cyclone separator (22) which is under pressure and from which the high-pressure steam is led away. Cellulose particles and conveying steam pass through a compression unit (24) and are fed to a dryer (32). Downstream of the dryer (32), resin is injected into this stream, so that the desired uniformity of the distribution of the resin is achieved. <IMAGE>
