PURPOSE:To cool a brush holder effectively, by providing a ring-shaped current plate having a rib for collecting and conducting cooling air to the brush holder, between a field core and the brush holder. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 30 is rotatably supported by bearings 31, 32 at the both ends. A commutator 33 comes in sliding contact with a carbon brush 28 for rectifying action. A centrifugal fan 34 is fitted at the side end of the end bracket 3 of the rotor 30, and air stream due to the centrifugal fan 34 flows through a conducting stream passage organized with a stationary conducting blade 35 fixed on the end bracket 3 and with a fan casing 36, and flows into a motor 1. Then, air stream is concentrated on the commutator 33 section by the current plate of a current plate assembly 14, to be cooled. After that, air stream cools a brush holder 4 and is discharged through the aperture of the housing 1. |
