The lock cylinder has a small diameter, for example 18 mm, so that it can be used especially as a furniture cylinder. The exchange of the inner cylinder takes place in an intended position, in which the keyway (15) coincides with the pin channel (16) and a wire pin can be inserted into this. A leaf spring (3) arranged in the outer cylinder projects with its free end (6) into an annular groove (7) of the inner cylinder as a coupling. The free end of the leaf spring is raised by means of the inserted wire pin, with the result that the inner cylinder can be drawn out forwards. A replacement inner cylinder with an associated key can be inserted in the same position. The free end (6) of the leaf spring (3) engages again into the annular groove (7) and thus restores the coupling. <IMAGE>
