PURPOSE:To prevent generation of creases and generation of recessed parts on a surface layer, by a method wherein at the time of performance of thermocompression molding of a molding felt material along with a sheetlike thermoplastic synthetic resin bonding layer and decorative cloth, thermocompression molding is performed while the decorative cloth is being made to suck and adhere closely along with the sheetlike bonding layer. CONSTITUTION:After a sheetlike bonding layer 3 has been made to soften by mounting the sheetlike bonding layer 3 and decorative cloth 2 on a hot plate 6, which has been heated at 120+ or -5 deg.C by making the sheetlike bonding layer 3 and decorative cloth 2 into the upside and underside respectively, the sheetlike bonding layer 3 and decorative cloth 2 are fixed to a clamp frame 5 mounted between compression molds 4 the upside and underside of which are heated at 180+ or -5 deg.C and 150+ or -5 deg.C respectively by making the sheetlike bonding layer 3 and decorative cloth 2 into the upside and underside respectively on which a molding felt material 1 is mounted so as to place the sheetlike bonding layer 3 inbetween them. Then thermocompression molding is performed at pressurizing force of 50kg/cm<2>, a pressurizing time for 2min and a gap of 2mm between a top and bottom forces while the sheetlike bonding layer 3 is being made to suck and adhere to the lower side mold 4 along with the cloth and a decorative molded felt is obtained. Deformations such as mixing of creases and recessed parts are not seen on decoration cloth of the molded decorative molded felt.
