PURPOSE:To record the telephone charge securely in a telephone set with the telephone number of a card registered subscriber, to totalize the charge and copy a detailed statement, and to perform even bank transfer automatically when necessary by using an IC card as a telephone card and inputted a large amount of information. CONSTITUTION:The telephone card is provided with an IC, whose amount of information is 8,000 characters and extremely large. When the telephone card made of the IC card is inserted into the insertion slit of a card telephone set, various pieces of information inputted to the IC card, i.e. a telephone number, an opposite-subscriber telephone number, the dates and times of the start and end of connection, speech length of time, charge, and an account number of a transfer bank are inputted to the host computer of a telephone office to which the card registered subscriber belongs to. The host computer integrates and totalize information by telephone numbers monthly, and the issues detailed statements and receive the telephone charge by bank transfer.
