PURPOSE:To enable a combustion amount in a small burner to be variable, improve an operating characteristic and provide a low cost stove burner by a method wherein a plurality of openings are arranged around a longitudinal direction of a closing element, the openings are corresponded to an orifice of a plug body facing to a large burner and the other orifice at a small burner under the rotation of the closing element. CONSTITUTION:An approx. cylindrical closing element 3 rotated and slid under the operation of a knob 11 is installed in a plug body 2 having gas outlet ports 5 and 8 at a large burner and at a small burner composed of a plurality of orifices 27-32, a plurality of openings A to F are made around a longitudinal direction of the closing element, the openings are corresponded to the orifices 30-32 at the large burner and the orifices 27-29 at the small burner in the plug body. With this arrangement, adjustment of flow rate in the large burner and small burner may be facilitated and a plurality of openings A to F are made around a longitudinal direction of the closing element, so that a degree of freedom can be obtained in setting of a position of each of the openings. 'Ignition' and 'strong' combustion can be carried out at a point near a rotational angle of 150 deg. of the knob and an approx. linear throttling to the position of 'stop' can be attained.
