PURPOSE:To prevent a rise of temperatures in a head or a power supply by integrating a printing dot amount, reading an integral value every period of time and controlling a printing volume in accordance with this integral value. CONSTITUTION:Pin data output from CPU 20 is added to a head 11 by electric path A-G through a pin data output means 12, and subsequently a corresponding head coil 17 is assisted performing printing work. In this case, if the pin data is output to the electric paths A, G, it is charged into a condenser C, resulting in the rising of an electric potential at x point each time an electric charge is performed. The electric potential at X point, i.e. an integral value of the printing dot amount by an integrating means 13 is read into an integral value reading means 14 of CPU 20 every scheduled period, and a duty corresponding to the integral value is sought. If this printing duty is in excess, it is reduced. As a result, an abnormal rise of temperatures in the head and power supply is prevented. |
