PURPOSE:To improve the quality of a clad plate by providing an electrostatic oil coating means which releases a rolling mill oil having electric charge and forming the flow of air from the adhesive surface side of a metallic plate toward the opposite side. CONSTITUTION:A chamber 4 contg. an electrostatic oil coater 3 is disposed on the inlet side of rolling rolls 1, 2. The coater 3 is equipped with electrode rolls 3a, 3b and is disposed with ejection nozzles 3c, 3d for the rolling mill oil respectively in the positions were the nozzles face each other with the metallic plate in-between. The dry air is introduced into the chamber 4 from an air introducing part 4c and is discharged from a leading out part 4b. The rolling mill lubricant sticks to the surface of the metallic plate in the side opposite from the adhesive surface thereof when the electrified rolling mill oil is injected from the nozzles 3c, 3d. The spread of the oil to the adhesive surface side is prevented by the flow of the air. The defective adhesion of the clad plate is thus prevented and the quality thereof is improved. |
