<p>There is provided an ink ribbon cassette (1) detachably mounted on a carriage of a recording apparatus, housing an ink ribbon (3) supplied from a casing and taken up therein after passing through a recording section and including first positioning means (7, 11) for positioning the ink ribbon cassette in the first direction when the ink ribbon cassette is mounted on the carriage, and second positioning means (8, 16, 17) for positioning the ink ribbon cassette in the second direction when the ink ribbon cassette is mounted on the carriage, wherein at least one of the first and second positioning means is elastically engaged with positioning means of the carriage, and inclined portions (1a) are formed at ink ribbon exit and entrance portions in the widthwise direction of the ink ribbon, and an ink ribbon feed mechanism (24) including the ink ribbon cassette.</p> |
